Canola Fields

This lonely windmill looks so striking against the stunning canola field background.  Experiencing the sheer beauty of the canola fields in the Overberg region is definitely something to put on your bucket list. The area between Swellendam, Caledon and Bredasdorp changes into this spectacular yellow landscape every September leading to breathtaking scenes of golden hills and landscapes.  This stunning picture was taken in exactly that area by Johan van der Merwe.  The natural lines in the landscape makes for a masterpiece!

This stunning 40 x 50cm canvas is a relatively challenging one, with 26 colours and most of detail in the bottom part of the canvas.  Each box contains a stretched, printed and numbered canvas, paint, brushes and a page detailing the numbers for an extra reference.
