Blue Nude

One of my favourites from one of the great masters.  The Blue Nudes series was made by Matisse later in his life, when his physical condition prevented him from painting.  He started making art with paper cut outs and settled on his favourite pose for this series.

This 20 x 30cm blue lady has 6 colours and is classified as easy, but there is a lot of beauty in simplicity.  Once you feel comfortable, you can always start playing around with different colour 'nudes' and make your own series...just saying.  Each box contains a stretched, printed and numbered canvas, paint, brushes and a page detailing the numbers for an extra reference.
