Karoo Scene

The Karoo has a special kind of magic, it is such a unique place, unique to our country.  Wide open spaces, silence for days, something about that place lingers with you, even after you have left.  That is why I thought the addition of such a picture will be good, as a way to celebrate our unique and beautiful country.  This image of a farm in the Karoo was taken by Johan van der Merwe, in the Swartberge close to Prince Albert.  

This 40 x 50cm earthy coloured farm scene is a challenging one which has 26 colours.  Each box contains a stretched, printed and numbered canvas, paint, brushes and a page detailing the numbers for an extra reference.
