Paris

The City of Love, this dreamy romantic setting where many a love story has played out.  Have you been to Paris?  Do you want to go?  Is Paris always a good idea?  I think so! 

Paris is also know as 'The City of Light', some say because of all the academics, writers and artists that have been drawn to the city, others claim it has nothing to do with intellect, but rather refers to the fact that Paris was one of the first cities who had street lighting.  Off course The Louvre is there as well, which is the biggest art museum in the world, housing more than 38 000 pieces of art, including the famous Mona Lisa.  

I have visited the Louvre once, and because of the above fact, I obviously only got to see a handful of the many pieces they have.  I think you can visit the museum for your whole life, without seeing everything.  I fell on the stairs going down into the museum, which is what you get if you stare at art instead of watching where you are going.

This canvas and it's pastel colours can be a nice reminder of time spent in Paris, or of places you still want to visit.  It is a 40 x 50cm canvas and is not too challenging with it's 22 colours.  Each box contains a stretched, printed and numbered canvas, paint, brushes and a page detailing the numbers for an extra reference.
