Picasso

Picasso has such a distinct style.  Pablo Ruiz Picasso is a Spanish artist, who spent most of his adult life in France.  He is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century:  He is known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore.  His ability to produce works in such a wide range of styles made him widely respected during his lifetime.

His father was also a painter and a professor at an Art School, but he felt that his son surpassed him as an artist when he was 13, and then vowed to give up painting.  Picasso passed an advanced art exam in Barcelona and was allowed to start studying art at the tender age of 13.  He created so many artworks in his lifetime.

This painting is called Cubism Woman Spanish Hand and is painted in his signature cubism style.

This 40 x 50cm version of his panting is not too hard with its 28 colours.  Each box contains a stretched, printed and numbered canvas, paint, brushes and a page detailing the numbers for an extra reference.
