Walking on Water

This is one of the images I bought from a South African photographer: Johan van der Merwe.  The image with the water reminded me of Jake Aikman’s art – I love his images of water.  The water brings such a feeling of calm, and forms the perfect backdrop to this black winged Stilt walking in the shallow water in one of the Kruger National Park’s many dams.  Perhaps a nice one for the birdlover’s amongst us to paint!

This beautiful 40 x 50cm canvas is unique to us and is not too challenging with it's 19 colours.  Each box contains a stretched, printed and numbered canvas, paint, brushes and a page detailing the numbers for an extra reference.
